Sport 2015 Brake fluid leaking into Handbrake Actuater

Hi lads sorry haven’t posted for a while . I updated to a 2015 Sport about a year ago. I appear to have Brake Fluid leaking into the Handbrake Caliper Actuators. Has anyone had this problem and advise me on the work required to repair. Thanks Jock🤔😞

That part of the pipe doesn’t usually corrode like the other part, that looks like it just needs the fitting that goes through the pipe needs nipping up or the copper washer (they have 2,one either side of pipe)could need replacing.
First thing I would do is get some brake & clutch cleaner, clean it up & get something or someone to hold the brake pedal down & see if you can see where it’s weeping from.I doubt it has done any harm the the park brake actuator.

Or on the other hand, has is recently had any work done on the brakes & whoever did it didn’t clean them. Andy.

Hi Tyrefitter
Thanks for the reply. I will try and clean them both off tomorrow and pinpoint the leak. I have spent most of the day running around trying to find out and most were saying Calipers are quite bad for the Actuator seal into Caliper failing.
Also Calipers seem very hard to get if required and expensive.
Definitely worth a try cleaning and and fingers crossed it's not the Caliper ,but I am never that lucky. Thanks for th reply will let you know how it goes.
Cheers Jock Sad
