that was just popping up local garage just to fill it up if pop it up to 60 it drops to 19mpg |

The best I have ever seen out of my 5.0 is 21mpg and that was on the journey home after having it re-mapped and s/c pulley upgraded. Otherwise average is around 14-15mpg and that is in eight years of ownership based on fuel put in and mileage covered not the lie'O'meter.

Have to admit I don't see any point in having all those gee gee's and not using them.

Mine averages 16 MPG with mainly short journeys. Last year we had a week in Suffolk - clocking up over 300 miles at an average of 22.5 MPG. However, most of that was on the A14 at 70 MPH travelling to and from Suffolk. Interestingly, I brimmed the tank before the drive there and topped up in Suffolk. Steady cruising produced just over 25 MPG - even with all holiday gear, dog, wife etc on board. There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley

I had the same when I took mine on a long road trip I know the mpg is reduced greater when on short trips |

Long trips I can get 22mpg but generally its about 12-14mpg |
