SVR elbow mark on door

Hi all. I’m looking to buy a 2 year old SVR. Found the spec I wanted at a main dealer. A number of cosmetic things needed tidying up but one of them the dealer said they cannot do.

The previous driver obviously had a heavy elbow and drove with it resting by the window a lot!. It’s indented the trim and leather grain and made it shiny rather than matte. The dealer said they will not change the door card (which I get), and it’s a take it or leave it (for asking price). Am I just being too fussy and loads of the L494s have this issue? It’s £94k car, only 19k miles and 2.5 years old… I have a 7 year old L494 which I’m trading in and have no such mark. The camera doesn’t capture it too well but you get the gist. Thoughts appreciated.

Its a pretty standard thing with L494's.

A decent detailer will be able to fix that though. Now

My MY21 P400 HST with 18,000 miles (I’ve had since 3,000 miles) has exactly the same mark, obviously have a heavy elbow too but I now try to rest it in different positions to avoid this marking! You could change the door card, but after a few thousand miles, it’s likely to look the same again unless you’re not an elbow rester!

Mine is also the same and is Pimento , I gently cleaned with a magic sponge and applied Gtechniq Leather Guard and this has taken the shine element away Thumbs Up

At £1500.00 + for a new door panel I think I might be inclined to give that idea a miss Rolling with laughter

Cheers
