Hi, new owner

Hi, I'm James or usually gets shortened to Jay, my old car (vauxhall insignia) got hit going back into work in Jan, last week announced write off.

I was already in the process of buying the best, or so I hope RRS I could find within a set budget.

Is there anything I need to look.out for now I have one?, although probably a bit late 😆

She's 2011/61 plate, 65,113 miles, all previous mots to back it, all main dealer service history until the last 2 services.

Thanks

James.

I've got the petrol 4.2 V8 supercharged my advice is get a gearbox flush and keep on top of all maintenance and service every year and it should be ok 👍

According to the paperwork that came with the car differential oil and transmission oil was done at 38k / 2016

Worryingly I can't see any mention of belts being done 😆

From my quick play with the air suspension, it seems to go up and down, is there a normal of how long the pump should run for on playing with height settings ?

Thanks

James.

No great surprise the belts weren't done. Lots of people will look at the mileage and not the time limits when deciding on what to do to a vehicle.

I'd get the belts done, have the gearbox flushed and the diff's and transfer box oils changed too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
