Detachable Tow Bar

Awaiting delivery of my new RRS and planning a tow bar fit, not by LR.
I have been looking at the Brink detachable one, it states it needs the tow cover cutting, but when the tow bar is off I would like to replace the cover uncut, happy to have no cover when using the tow bar.
Is this possible? Anyone got this setup and could show me a picture of the cover on with the tow bar off.
Thanks

I had a detachable tow bar fitted a couple of weeks ago.
The cover is still in one piece and has not been cut. I just take it off, 2 screws, when I need to tow the trailer. 2015 RRS HSE Dynamic 3.0 SDV6

A new one rather than a used one, so L494.
Thanks, good to know I can keep the cover intact, which brand did you go for? LesW

Hi,

we had a westfalia removable on our L494 and as above just removed the panel when towing and put it back when not
we had also had the un-boltable ball type rather than a swan neck as I used it for a bike rack as well as tintenting. Porsche Cayenne 2022

Send pics when you got it fitted. I am thinking of getting one as well. Although I wanted an automatic one that just comes down o it’s own as I had on my Benz
