South Africa 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Siberian Silver
Codename for the new RRS

Hi,

Does anyone know the codename for the upcoming new RRS?

@Martin will we have a separate section for the new model, same as you did for the ND on Defender2.net?

Thanks Thumbs Up --

Can clearly see rear wheel steering in some of these pictures: https://www.carscoops.com/2022/02/2023-ran...r-styling/ 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE

That's an impressive amount of rear steer. Cool

Does anyone else have a slight moment to think about having the rear being steered by an ECU based on what it thinks you're doing? LR and ECUs have an interesting history... Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Quite a few differences on the real one to this.... This is clearly the awkward child of Sport / Evoque / Velar.

For a start, its got weather strips on the doors that are missing on the new one. And thats before i start on the totally different front / rear bumpers! Rolling with laughter Now

Looks the same as the old one - so not really a new model - was hoping for something fresh and exciting as that body shape is starting to look a bit tired. 07MY RRS TDV6

Hardly surprising these days Gary as they all seem to come out the same L/R corporate Jelly Mould.

Not much they can do if the RRS is supposed to be the sporty RR. It's always going to look like in terms of overall shape. What else can they do? It's always going to be a bonnet and then a big lump of cabin with a slope down to the rear. Any more slope to the roofline and the rear seats would be unusable. Other than that, it's corporate styling to the front and rear valances / lights.

It's the same as all other car makers - Audi, BMW, Mercedes, etc., all have the same problem - they're all just big boxes with a big bonnet up front. Then it's just corporate styling that differentiates them. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
