So this is my first post, and my first Range Rover. I am pretty clueless so I apologise in advance for this.

I currently have a 2006 Range Rover Sport HSE. Currently there are 4 22inch alloys on there, and a spare under the car which I’m guessing is. 20inch (as I was told a 22 didn’t fit) because of this, we want to get 20inch or 21 instead as it makes more sense having a spare that you can actually use.

The car is used for normal driving, lots of motorway driving, not off-road much at all so was wondering what tyres I should be looking for. Currently on the car they are : 285 - 35R22 106V XL

275/40 20 on a 20 inch rim

275/45 21 on a 21 inch rim

Personally I would run 275/45 profile on either diameter rim, having run both never noticed any discernible ride quality difference between the two, visually the look a little better as they fill the arch more than the standard 40 profile. Might also be worth checking with your insurance company if it's ok to fit either size, but saying that the 22" rims you have fitted were never a option on the car as L/R never fitted 22's to the L320.
