So I tried to set up InControl on my (new to me) 2016 SVR but the previous owner was still registered. I sent an email to LR Experience with a copy of my logbook and driving licence last night and today they replied saying previous owner was now removed and I can add my car.
Followed the instructions and it all went surprisingly smoothly.
But, I noticed that I now have subscriptions to "Protect", "Remote Premium" and "Secure Tracker" and the expiry date for the subscriptions is 01/02/2025 yet I haven't had to "buy" anything or commit to a monthly subscription.
Can you tell me please, is this normal?
I have to say, I'm actually quite impressed with it all!

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

Hi , when I got my car in 2017 it too had another owner registered to it but LR swapped it over for me. Once it was in my name everything expired in 2020. I assume you get the first 5 years free when you get the car new. I have renewed again for 2 years but that was the maximum I could sign up for. Considering the age of your car it should have expired in 2021 so maybe the previous owner paid for the further subscription. Lucky you ……
