I recently PX’d my SVR (MY17) and had bought a space saver for it that I kept to sell on. I never had to use it. I wasn’t aware of the 10J requirement, or know of it’s implication, nor can I find any reference to it? I believed the spare wouldnt fit over the front calipers, so a puncture on the front would need a rear wheel being placed on the front and the spare on the back. It fitted in my rear wheel well without problem. If you’re interested, drop me a PM, I also have a few other bits to go that I’ll advertise in due course. I am St Albans based. Regards. |

Thanks for your answer and that seems to make sense. I'm planning a road trip to the South of France and would feel more comfortable having an actual wheel rather than a bottle of gunk!

Sounds good. Enjoy your trip! Make sure you have a wrench and socket as mine didn’t come with them as standard, only gunk, compressor, scissor jack and locking wheel nut. |

I have a full size 22 inch wheel in my boot, fits perfectly and was a factory option |

I have the hoist as well and did a trial run when I got the car, just out of interest.

Are the TDV8 & SDV6 not on 275/40 x 22 9.5J & the SVR on 295/40 profile 10J which might make the difference if a full size SVR wheel will fit or not depth wise.

You can definitely fit a 275/40r22 in the spare wheel well but I’m not sure about the 295/40r22.you could always have the 275/40 as a spare,it would be better than a space saver or the useless inflation kit they supply. Andy.

The 295 will fit but then the boot carpet/mat won’t sit flat, you’ve gone for the best option Andy.

So, the wheel arrived today. Genuine Range Rover Sport 21" wheel with a Pirelli Scorpion Verde 275/45/R21.
