Will 19" alloys fit an L320 (2010) RRS TDV8?

New member today after collecting my 'new' (to me) 2010 RRS TDV8. I've been a member of the Disco 3 Forum for many years, but sold the car over Christmas to make way for my lovely new TDV8.

Anyway, my car has come with 20" alloys and I've read conflicting info about whether 19" alloys will fit a TDV8... which I think has Brembo front calipers (I'm not sure..?)

Will 19" LR/RR alloys fit? Judging from the gap between the calliper and 20" wheel currently fitted there appears to be sufficient clearance for 19's..

Mine certainly doesn't have brembo's fitted,,, I think it may have been the earlier model that had them,, up to 2009, and I think the original spare was 19". I'm sure someone else will chip in to say yes or no. 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
Many years ago,,,,, 1955 series 1 landie , sometimes wish I had kept it

If your calipers look like this they are obviously brembo but may have Range Rover decal instead although I beleive the last of the facelift TVD8 didn't have the brembo's fitted. 19" rims will fit over them, it has also been known to remove the damper weights and fit certain 18" rims.

Cheers

Sorry for the poor pics, but the car hasn’t come with the key for the locking wheel nuts so can’t get the wheel off yet Neutral

Anyway, this is the calliper in question…

Standard calliper, not brembo's or high performance as L/R like to call them Very Happy I'm afraid, shouldn't have any problems with 19" rims if you want to use them.

Cheers

Locking nut as long as they are original when car was new,can be purchased from LR but they will probably need proof of ownership.
Make sure you look everywhere in car first,in boot under spare & in every compartment in car,,I’ve found them in all different places when I was fitting tyres. Andy.

It’s either dealer or a good garage that can get them off without damaging the wheels with a kit like I have & you buy a separate bit for it that removes LR/Jaguar locking nuts.

When I had my Disco and couldn’t find the Locking Wheel nut key, the guy that did my work said he could spot weld on to the nut to undo them, but he found a spare key that fitted so didn’t have to.
Worth a call to a local Indy as they may have a matching spare

No worries - my local garage has the necessary stuff to remove the nuts next week.

Same brakes as ours, which I have just swapped for 494 6 pots. May fit them to the disco 3 as they are larger. 19s will fit over the 4 pot brembos, but defo not the 6 pots. 4 pot setups come up on eBay and Facebook all the time.
