Can't see anything. The position suggests something close to the wiper switch. |

From memory that look so much like the one that plugs in the 8 pin socket on the rear of the clock spring, not the ringed one that's for the heated steering wheel

Yes! You get a gold star and can go to the playground early, Andy! THANK YOU. I couldn't visualise the bit you meant but it dawned on me today. The plug has many sockets and the socket only has four pins but they do mate. |

Yep - just four wires of those colours. Don't know why the connector has so many sockets.
