I had the suspension warning light come on and the car dropped to the bumps

I drove it home and plugged in my IID.

IT was showing the following faults;-

Suspension

C1A75-1C (2E) Rear right height sensor mechanism - General electrical failure - circuit voltage out of range

C1A03-92 (6C) Front left height sensor - Component failure - performance or incorrect operation
( on 02-01-2022 21:09:19 at 228180 km )
C1A04-92 (6C) Front right height sensor - Component failure - performance or incorrect operation

C1A07-62 (6C) Cross articulation - Algorithm based failure - signal compare failure
( on 02-01-2022 21:07:08 at 228180 km )

The rear sensor was showing red on the 4x4 screen and appeared to be bouncing up and down.

I bought a new rear sensor LR014587 but noticed that someone appears to have cut into the wires in the past (probably when LR traced a worn wire down). And the torx nuts have rusted away

AND the new part appears to be the wrong part? The screw holes do not line up with the old ones?

I’ve added the pictures to help.

I tried a calibration after cleaning the old one, but it failed.

Any ideas folks? Is the new part correct or not? And where do i get the new torx bolts! Previously owned 1999 Disco 2 TD5

New, and correct part fitted today. What a the old one was to get off. Both screws had rusted away so force was needed to cut away the remains.

Calibration carried out twice as I had forgotten to move her to the one flat area on my driveway the first time. And fingers crossed, we went for a second test run,,,, and so far so good

Also took off and replaced very rusty reinforced bar on top part of rear tailgate, fitted new upper tailgate switch, and new LED number plate lights. So hopefully I have now sorted the battery drain from the waterlogged switch.

That just leaves the new headlight to be fitted and adjusted tomorrow.

Oh, and drill out the remains of the wheel nut that I managed to sheer off when I was tightening it up. Previously owned 1999 Disco 2 TD5
