Avoid Sovereign Automotive Engineering

Evening gents

Avoid sovereign automotive engineering at all costs

They rebuilt my engine after 120 miles the crank failed again after a full rebuild with turbos cost £7850
Then they collected my car when the winch failed causing my sport to roll of the recovery truck causing damage to my bumper after the bumper was repaired it was left on the road for it to be compounded as I'd sorned the vehicle, no call from them got the dvla letter confirming cost me £500 to recover. They tell you at sovereign its left in asecure compound. After 9 months of there utter bullsh*t and my constantly phoning and calling in I got my car back running to discover more issues, scratches on bodywork.
The car sound like all the induction pipes are leaking and drawing air in or it's a split inlet manifold ?
Engine vibrates when you Rev the engine and revs drop (faulty egr valve or injector maybe ? )
Sounds like the main induction pipe is leaking
Plus vibration in footwell ?
Lost wheel locking nut

My opinion avoid at all cost

There is a reason most indys recommend only a genuine LR recon lump. Unfortunately, you've found out why. Hopefully you paid by credit card, so have some recompense...

There are only 2 companies that I'd even consider using for a rebuild, but the cost is only marginally less than a genuine unit. And with a genuine lump, it comes with a 2 year unlimited mile warranty, that makes it a no brainer Thumbs Up
