I'm thinking of upgrading from my 2010 RRS to the newer shape. i've seen one that's going through auction but has no service history according to the listing. Perhaps it hasnt but I'd be surprised if it's never been serviced in 60k miles. I have the reg, and the last 4 digits of the VIN (from HPI)....is there any way to get the remainder of the VIN so that I can check the LR service database online, or anyone that has the means to check for me?

Mike kindly helped out last time with the VIN, but I decided not to go for the car as it only had one service recorded. I've now bought a different RRS, but havent seen it yet so again I don't have the VIN and would like to have a look at the online history.....is there anyone else that can also obtain the VIN if I PM the reg number?

Also wondering if there's anywhere I can check specification - it's a June 2015 3.0 HSE Dynamic.

I can’t help with VIN number but I made a change from 2012 year to 2015 model and have no regrets at all. Do you know if yours is 2016 model year? If so there will be a few changes from 2015 model year like auto access mode with the suspension, gesture control with boot and use seat heating from the climate control buttons.

Hi, I'm not sure but I'm guessing it's 2015 model year unfortunately.

Mines a July 2015 registered car so you never know your car too could be 2016MY. Another give away for the 2016MY is they take Adblue and car tax is cheaper because of this (I think)

Thanks Mike, but tyrefitter checked it for me. It arrives sooner than expected... today, with v5 in the glovebox!
