Tailgate Glass

I know this is an old topic and I apologise for dragging it up again .
I have looked at as many posts as I could find but still my glass remains shut .
I have replaced the outer handle still not opening .
Can anyone tell me if it has a separate fuse or relay
My last question is has anyone ever rewired from the source which is assume is the body control module .
I know it doesn’t interfere with the running of the car but I would just like it to work .

Do you mean the switch on the tailgate just above the number plate .
If this is what your talking about yes I have 👍
