Hints and tips for buying a secondhand SVR please?

I've owned my 2005 4.2L SC for over 5 years now and despite a few expensive fixes, I'm still in awe at the ride, power, comfort and presence that it has.
I'm lucky enough to be in a position where I can upgrade and my heart really wants an SVR.
my budget will be about £50k so I know I'm looking at the bottom of the choices and also age and mileage.
The specs I really want are, contrast interior (don't mind bold colour schemes), panoramic roof and side steps.
Can anybody advise me on what to look for on a 5-6 year old SVR (probably with 50k miles for my budget).
Are there expensive things that should have been done by this age and what other things are likely to go wrong if any?

I know it's a bit of a broad question but any input will help me weigh up the risks/rewards!

Many thanks and Merry Christmas all. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love.

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

I know nothing about the SVR except they are lovely and will always be beyond me. However, applying what you’ve learnt over the last 5 years and others from here, maintenance is the key. Even more than LR direct, surely the diffs and gearbox/Transfer box - the usual suspects. What’s making you look?. We’ve also owned our car just under 5 years and I suppose it’s coming to that pivot point or move or keep. I’d look outside of London though as you may get a better deal for your budget.

Seasons greetings to you. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Morning Scrumpy,Here’s one I have in my watched list,a few decent extras including 1700 sound system & one thing I would want being a svr as I know how much these can catch you out with the power after owning a L494 SC,,Head up display.
Good luck with your search,,

2013 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 Baltic Blue

Can't comment on the running, as i never keep any of my RR's a year - let alone 5/6.

But they are amazing cars and in many ways much more reliable than the "normal" ones.

As long as it's looked after, serviced annually and run on decent fuel....running costs are quite sensible....but don't underestimate the costs. The main reason for their being so many on the market, is people buying them in lockdown as they aren't commuting and realising that they are not as cheap as they expected! Laughing

But be picky, there are lots on the market! Now

Thanks for the rep[lies and advice which I've taken onboard.

Thanks Andy for the link. That's exactly what I'm after but don't want to step on your toes if it's on your potential purchase list? 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

My two cents for what its worth.
Spending that sort of money on a newish car, I'd always get LRs extended warranty so make sure the service history is perfect 2009 RRS 3.0 TDV6 SP HSE
