1st service.........ABROAD!

I am very nervous now!

Sport now has 14,000 miles in 7 and a bit months and due to climate and the drive here, I think I need to get it serviced now and at smaller intervals than UK. Sad

I rang the LR importer/distributor and the garage in Paphos is not qualified to work on Sports. Shocked
Now waiting for a cal back from Limassol who apparantly are qualified. Confused

My question is, do you think they are qualified? Do you think they will have had training by LR themselves in order to be allowed to sell/service LR's?

Then again, the Cypriots can't be any worse than UK stealers! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Interesting point. Are they a LR franchise or simply an independent dealer who happens to sell LRs? I suppose if they're a franchised dealer you'd expect they would have received some form of training.... Question

If you search google, and put in 'Land Rover Cyprus', it comes up with the official importer/distributor.

As far as I'm aware, the only one on the island - Nicosia, Limassol & Paphos Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

You could always drive back to the UK and get the service done, then give us all a lift back to Cyprus! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Germany 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey

Look in the glove compartment of your Sport.... There should a European dealers directory there.... Look up Cyprus...

There should be some good people there, because of the amount of Land Rovers on the island (not least ex British military)....

You just have to shout at them in English, they'll soon understand. You'll know all about that Havank, not being from these shores! Laughing
