So. I have a weird one here that’s really hard to explain. But I’m going to try.

When driving over a pot hole, or more frequently sunken manhole covers my RRS does the following:

Front end dip in and out of the hole. Normal.
Back end seems to sway left to right as it goes into the hole and comes out.

I know that doesn’t read well but it’s explained as well as I can.

The sway isnt huge but noticeable.

Anybody had this before? Might be normal for all I know. I’m used to driving sports cars and this has done this ever since picking it up, so haven’t just developed this either.

In have exactly the same - front just bangs through the holes (it needs new LCAs) but the rear throws the car a little to the left or right. My car has 200,000km on original suspension. 07MY RRS TDV6

Ive got no banging on front end. Just the sway of the rear that doesnt seem right.

The swaying sounds like suspension worn I had similar in my old L320 but never got round to replacing as bought a L494 instead 😂… 2015 4.4 Autobiography

Sounds like the bushes on the rear arms need replacing,if you know anyone with a garage,ask them to check them out. Andy.
