I seem to have a strange issue with my rrs - 2005 without adaptive headlights. My sidelights (front, rear and number plate lights) do not come on when selected from the switch neither does my instrument cluster illuminate. When I select dipped lights, head lights and side lights now come on but again no illumination of the instrument panel. When headlights are set to auto - all lights come on and instrument panel now illuminates. My understanding is also on the 2005 model there are no tell tales for the headlights on the instrument panel is this correct? So far I have checked all the fuses and relays and all look fine (no issue with power when headlights set to dipped or on auto). I have also replaced the light switch in hopes that it was faulty. Does anyone know what module controls the lighting or would anyone have access to the correct wiring diagrams? Thanks in advance for any help and advice given.

It might be worth also mentioning that when I bought the vehicle it has had led number plate lights fitted I do not have the original bulb holders so I can’t swap them out for standard halogen bulbs. Would it be possible that a low current draw from these leds would cause no other sidelight to operate when I only want sidelights, bearing in mind all lights illuminate when dipped or auto is selected.

Is will be a small fuse under the bonnet.
