Old Subject - New post - Adaptive Headlight issue.

I have had this problem before, back in 2017 and bought 2nd hand, and now that one has a problem. Censored

The warning light for the AFS flashes intermittently. It can be cleared by my IID, then after a few miles comes back on. The lights are generally stuck and dont dance, but seem to be at the correct height.
But then sometimes they do dance!

The code below needs some interpretation from you folks, if you can? Bow down

I did spend £81 replacing the Control Power Module to no avail, so before I spend around £500 on a Hella set from LRDirect, is there anything else I should be looking at.

OR, is it better just to buy the new one! Big Cry Big Cry Previously owned 1999 Disco 2 TD5

How do know if the knocking at the front has been sorted?

You can hear the knocking at the rear better

Sounds like the motor and sensor in one headlight has failed ?

Try plugging in the old headlight if you still have it. See if it goes.
Then you maybe able to open the headlight (using hair dryer )
And swap parts? Assuming they are good

Sadly the old one had corroded electrics on the motor, hence why it failed that time Big Cry Previously owned 1999 Disco 2 TD5
