Yes, after 4 years with my TDV8 the front and rear suspension no longer knocks. After a near silent 210 mile drive through the Highlands today, it drove better than the day it left the factory.

Hmm. Might need a bit more detail of the thump. But for starters, you say it disappears when cruising. Does it happen if you accelerate from the cruise? Or is it only when pulling away? Where is the thump apparently from? Robin

Only really noticeable when pulling off, whether its in a strfaight line or turning, so acceleration once moving seems ok. I would say it feels like its from the FNS, but with these cars thats not to say it isn’t from the rear. Previously owned 1999 Disco 2 TD5 Disco 3 HSE TDV6 2007 Gone 2007 TDV8 RRS1 in Buckingham Blue. How do know if the knocking at the front has been sorted? You can hear the knocking at the rear better |

I am doing a service on it this week, so will have a look at this.
