My understanding is that the Euro classification of a vehicle depends on the type and date first registered (although it looks that there is an exception for vehicles dispatched from the manufacturer, see below *). That is to say a vehicle registered after a certain date has to comply with European emission requirements. I think that a vehicle registered before that date (e.g before 1 September 2015), although it may meet those requirements, isn't a Euro 6.
So a car with an engine that meets Euro 6 but was registered on the last day of October 2015 will be Euro 5, whereas the same car registered the next day will be a Euro 6.
Adblue was fitted to diesels to help them meet the lower NOx requirements of Euro 6. I don't now when Land Rover started fitting Adblue, but if it was in a car registered before 01/09/15, it will still be Euro 5, I think.

* Important note: as the Jaguar website helpfully explains, 'individual vehicles already on sale that were built by, and dispatched from, the manufacturer before 1st June 2015 can continue to be sold until 1st September 2016'. This in effect means that a car sold before 1st September 2016 may still have a Euro 5 engine. Check with the manufacturer to be certain.

Mine was registered 14/07/15 and is euro 6. Just been on the HPI euro checker and put registration number in and comes out as euro 6.

Tried checker but cant find my car/reg ?
Even tried previous reg but not good
