2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Stornoway Grey
Hi all from an HST newbie.

Hi all, total newbie to the RRS scene Very Happy
Was contemplating a Disco 3 or 4 but just couldn’t resist this HST when I saw it and then looked up what an HST even was Cool
Around 3 months into ownership now, yes a few niggles but don’t they all Whistle
No doubt be bugging people soon for their experience and expertise Bow down
First job I did was to remove the Towbar Thumbs Up

Cheers Boxers Thumbs Up I’ve got to agree, I’m attempting to refresh some bits already which haven’t weathered so well like new door handles and bonnet badges but keep it as original as possible!!! Although i couldn’t resist little mods like sweeping door indicators Whistle

Nice looking car, always did like Stornoway Gray, had a HST that colour in the early day's, shame they dropped the style for the face-lift RRS1 as much better looking than the A/B.

Cheers

Hiya and welcome to the forum. That’s a lovely example you’ve chosen there. Unless I’m being dense what’s sweeping indicators? 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Will someone enlighten me as to what an HST model is over HSE pre or post facelift?

The pre-facelift HST had different front and rear bumper, rear spoiler, tailgate lower moulding slightly larger, door mouldings were colour coded etc. different grille and side vents may have been a few other bit's can't really remember, few little differences inside but not much, factory one's also had a electronic locking diff as standard. Could almost describe it as the predecessor for the facelifted A/B's as there was never a pre-facelift A/B. Not sure if there was a facelift HST may have been but I think it may have been called Stromer not even sure what it looked like, although I think the 2.7 version of the first HST's was called a Stromer as well.

Cheers
Col
