United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
Garage Near Dewsbury

Hi All,
I have had the Restricted Performance warning 3 times, last night I got loads of other warnings too, so I’d like to get it sorted.
Can anyone recommend and garages local to me in Dewsbury?
A friend of my wife works for Green Oval so that is an option.
Work will hopefully be done under the AA warranty.

Take it to Jas york, 30 mins down m62 will be best decision you can make, They even have courtesy loan cars if needed.

So been looking on here for possible causes, as I have black smoke the common guess seems to be a crack pipe.
Opened the bonnet for a look

Looks to be a pretty big crack on the top, so hopefully an easy fix.

Just had it out to try the duct tape temporary fix, whilst waiting for silicon replacements to arrive, so took a better picture.

That’s the plan.
I’ve ordered one from LR parts, top hoses look easy enough, will need to figure out how to do the others.

Hoses arrived today, fitted the top two quickly, had to reuse the LR clips, so need to see if that has solved the problem.
Is there an idiots guide to replacing the other 4 that came in the set?
A quick look underneath (it’s been raining and I didn’t have a torch) I’ve found where one of the them goes but not sure about the other 3.

Autotel AP200 arrived this week so I have run a couple of scans.
First Scan on Friday showed 38 Faults
Todays 17 Faults
So I have erased them and see what comes back after a run tomorrow.

Oh boy, all hell broke lose this morning. Wouldn’t start lot’s of warning lights and eventually got it started and the Active Cornering Warning light came on and stayed on until I stopped and left it for a couple of hours.

Haven’t put the code reader back on it yet. Will leave it a couple of days before I see what is going on.

Just had my arc pipes (front & rear) done & a service. Carried out by adventure services in Morley. Very helpful & informative. Very happy 👍
Mechanic Joe was very helpful.
