L494 Dynamic front ARB Bushes, Steering column gaitor
Has anyone tackled these DIY or are they a main dealer/indie job?
Steering joint looks like two bolts accessible from LH side of engine. Although may be tricky to remove from lower rack?
ARB bushes look a little more tricky and may need specialist tools?
Car has just been serviced by main dealer and these were flagged.
They quoted £267 for front bushes but £550 for steering column gaitor (new UJ joint)
New genuine UJ joint is approx £150 LR033647
Uprated front ARB bushes from Polybush are about £30

the UJ is easy to fit...undo the bolts and the steering column can be pushed up to give access.
