Which condensor?
Trying to get aircon working again and need a new condensor. Looking at various manufacturers but some have air driers and some not so how would I know if there is one fitted to my RR ? V8diesal 57 plate HSE
Had a wee search , looks like the Nissen condensor cames with the drier , all good there, now ordered , just the removal and refitting , looks a bit tricky!

There are two methods.
1) Remove fan and coolant rad . Fan removal is a pain if its not been off in the last few years. And who wants to drain coolant if you can avoid it.
2) Remove the bumper and front panel structure. Bumper bolts on the bottom edge rust and snap and the torx crash bar bolts can be seized.
Pic your easiest/ preferred method!

Did mine last year,, managed to get a Nissens condenser off a well known site for £77, brand new and boxed. In short i removed the front grill, headlights, bumper, loose off and move across the coolant reservoir, fan guard off, top rad hoses off mainly to allow other bits to move about. Slam panel bolts out and two tappers securing front wings to slam panel otherwise when trying to move slam panel forward you're actually pulling on the front wing panels. Having as much clearance as possible between intercooler and oil / egr cooler??? Makes life soo much easier. Had to make up a funny tool to remove the two self tappers holding the guard on the lower part of the radiator as this stops the condenser from coming out. Seems like a lot of work but it's not to difficult,, I could probably do the whole job in a few hours if I was to do it again.
