Well my HST P400 was ordered first week July (so one week after rickshaw), and I’ve been told to expect mine in March! Maybe my splurge on the options list has ruled me out of the ‘job lot’ of HSTs that it looks like they may be building  Current: Cayenne GTS (got fed up with waiting for LR to build my third RRS)
On order: RRS3 510e AB
Gone: RRS SDV8 AB, RRS SDV6, Vauxhall Nova 1.0, Nova 1.3 SR, Nova 1.4 SRi, Renault Laguna (why?), BMW 318is coupe (fabulous - despite having to buy a radio and tape player for it from Halfords), 323i saloon, 325ti compact (superb), 320td compact (awful), VW Golf 2.0d 4Motion (all the car you really need), BMW 120d compact (excellent), 118d compact (slow), 335d coupe (rapid)

My HSE 300 Silver, ordered on 1st June is at the dealer and will be in my drive next week

One interesting thing is that "due to parts shortages" the car will only be supplied with one key at the time of delivery. The 2nd key will be sent from the dealer at a later date.

So the parts shortages must extend beyond 360 Cameras and HUDs.

I didn't spec either of those and went with a standard spec.

so, just got a call from my dealer

my HST is finally freezed
production date is 8.10.2021

HUD and ACC are in the config and were not removed (!)

so.. now.. I am happy and looking forward to get the beauty.

Got a call from the dealer today and my car haas arrived at the dealership. Ordered end of feb due 29th June then 10th august and delayed a few days before the build date then finally 10th September, which is when it was built.

I have a P400e ATB, surround cameras, HUD and many other options so that explains the delay but just glad its finally here and collecting it on Monday

Your car kept the cameras? Interesting. Somewhere LR made the cut. Perhaps they took the date of order. All other after date xyz lost the cams...

Yeah mine had the 360 cameras removed along with the driver assist pack but it has also apparently gone into build so time will tell.

There was no communication of the fact that the cameras and Driver Assist Pack were removed, the factory simply removed them, locked the car and sent it off to build which is what it is I guess.

Would have liked to have been consulted before they made the decision to do that to be honest.

Not a necessity to have the Driver Assist Pack or the 360 Surround Cameras and I won't be charged for them but still wasn't an ideal purchasing experience.

Not like I can even ask for another car with the bits on it as there's no ETA when the cameras or Driver Assist Pack is coming back.

So I guess I'll have to take the car as-is, no other option really. Non JLR Vehicle

yes, that is a very bad example of a customer-relationship.
my dealer informed me every time and proactively. two weeks ago, when LR communicated that the 360 cams will be removed, they called me and told: either the cams or the whole car.

When evaluating a custom build on the LR website it now acknowledges delays and potential options shortcomings as a result of the chip shortage/global supply constraints. First time I've seen that on the LR site. 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE

same in Switzerland. they refer to the dealer for more details about MY22
my dealer told me, that L405 orders are not possible anymore. a L494 order is still possible, with restrictions about camera. I am not sure, if the HUD can still be ordered...

in my built sheet the HUD and ACC are confirmed Range Rover Sport HST D350

L405 isn't possible anymore/or is just about to be not possible anymore as the new RR is about to be announced within the next month so the factory will be re-tooling or starting to.

L494 will possibly/probably follow the same fate either in September 2022 as per before or it might be pulled forward 6-8 months to the May/June area or it might even slip later than September knowing JLR.

My hunch is we won't see new RRS on the street in the UK until 2023 but then again I've been wrong many times before, they might pull a fast one and release the new RRS in May 2022 as its their biggest profit model and they need all the money they can get at the moment. Non JLR Vehicle

Was told a similar thing by my dealer on Saturday... Taking deposits for the new Range Rover now and they expect the RRS to be available to order from September 2022.

Accidental Double post

Just been given a build slot on my p400e order I think? Ordered on the 13th August and their system is saying 5th January 2022 for final specification lock in, 4th February for when it's built and 18th February delivery to retailer. I ordered a dynamic black p400e with no cameras and no HUD.
