Has anyone had any luck pairing the Ghost-II app with the immobiliser? I've spent weeks Googling and trying different installers sequences but cant seem to nail it. In on a MY2014 L494.

I have the Ghost on my RRS Autobiography and BMW 640 Convertible but would never use the app in case I forgot to turn off yhe bluetooth. As you say they can still scan and take your car making the Ghost pointless |

Didn’t even know this is a thing - presumed it would be a different protocol as its over Bluetooth and not the frequency of the key? I've emailed them for their comments. It was Christopher Preston that told me about the Bluetooth thing & he is the ghost guru & was behind the development, when he installed mine he said make sure that Bluetooth is turned off when near the car as it can still be stolen. Andy.

so basically still can't use Bluetooth as your car will be disarmed on your driveway if you do and haven't turned off or forget to turn off Bluetooth when in the house. If you do, you can't use your phone with any other device at home |

Don’t forget they have to still physically get in your car to press the Start button which you can’t do via the app. I still keep my keys in a Faraday Cage so I’m happy with the risk vs's convenience. L494 3.0L SDV6 Autobiography in Chile Red (Current)
