based on your statement, I called my dealer

at the moment it's a strange(r) situation..
he promised me, that my car is still 8.9. (last amendment) / 8.10. (build)

he will call me after the 8.9. to tell me if the car is freezed, but still then he can't promise at the moment that the dates will stay.

LR Switzerland told the dealers to tell the customers about an upgrade of single options. that means: to upgrade to a package which contains an option (e.g. surround camera)

for you it's an unlucky situation.. I seen that you have ordered on the 22.6.21
I ordered three months before you and I hope that the RRS will be build in October..

you have a P400e - I was told by the dealer that this car is again special, because of the hybrid technology

I ordered a HST. in Switzerland it has a decent trim with lots of options in the package... I added just some fine things and 360 cam, HUD and ACC are one of them
I didn't want to deselect them, because I have choosen the options sensible.

So, it's getting more and more crazy

Tomorrow would be the last amendment.
Today I got a call with two options:
- deselect 360 camera
- cancel the order

I have chosen the deselect of the cameras...

The build date stays as is... but, wouldn't be surprised if it shifts again...

I understand the situation, but now I am getting angry..

Another site is claiming no more heads up display, loss of 360 cameras = no adaptive cruise control / lane keep assist, etc. etc. Sounds like whatever resources LR have will be put into the new 2023 Range Rover model and the existing models spec will suffer. 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE

All I will say is ask your retailer to keep an eye on your order form very closely.

Parts were removed from my SVR order and it was sent for build and now can't be modified so in essence I am without one pack and one option I ordered and the car has now been sent for build and can't be changed anymore, it will come how it comes.

That's on top of the date changing 3-4 times. I'd like to think I'm reasonably loyal to JLR but this entire process has been very problematic.

My retailer is kindly letting me walk away with no penalty if I choose to, but then what do I do? Non JLR Vehicle

To be honest: my dealer kept me always informed (really proactively) which I really appreciate
I am waiting for tomorrow. Today was the last amandment - yesterday the info about the 360cams.
I can live without them..

as you mentioned: I could cancel, but what then? in the SUV league, in my opinion, nothing is comparable with the RRS (styling, abilities etc.). the new I6 Diesel engine with 350hp is a peach of engine... therefore I hope it will come as/when promised Range Rover Sport HST D350

Just got confirmation my order delayed again till feb 2022.

360 camera is not removed from my order as well.

:p.

Pretty poor so am considering cancelling the order and have a think.

Sounds strange.. because packages were cancelled where the cams are included (drive pro pack I think). That's the info which I have for Switzerland Range Rover Sport HST D350

Amd as a min, general response for my dealer is as of 01 Sept it can take equal to or more than 6 months delay now. If not built slot given.

Heard today that my HST (ordered June) has now pushed back to March. I have 360 cameras as an option. A local dealer told me a fortnight ago that orders could now take 12 months. It’s a shambles and I’ve lost confidence in LR’s ability to manage its supply chain and plan production.

If I can find a nicely specced and very, very low mileage SVR or an X5 50i then I’m cancelling my order. After 8 years of RRS and wanting to stay loyal to British manufacturing, my bet is that I’m heading back to BMW! Current: Cayenne GTS (got fed up with waiting for LR to build my third RRS)

Delivery in July, August, undefined and then November

I have a last amendment (8.9.) and a built date (8.10.) so far.
The car is in the "red" phase, which means no changes possible, but not freezed yet.

Yesterday my dealer told me, that he checks the car state daily and that they are in daily contact with LR Switzerland.

I hope that my HUD and ACC will not be removed... Range Rover Sport HST D350
