So as mine is out of warranty I have gone to LR head office looking for assistance - whilst waiting their response I thought I would check it again, put into low range and rock crawl and when I pulled away I got the knocking, sounds terrible!! Reset back to auto and no noise.......hoping thus is still the transfer box issue and nothing else 🙄

Hi all, I finally did the dou le flush and replaced the oil in the transfer case, also sorted the problem. I went to my local indy in Reading and the cost was £200 +vat

Also I was recommended to do this every 50 to 60k miles.......
