The blanking caps covering the mounting screws holes are missing thats all nothing else missing. They are quite a odd shape and size, unfortunately as normal L/R do not list them separately for the Sport, however they do list some for the D4 roof bars that look the same or very similar so may be worth a try. Would those be grommets to cover the circular holes?

Yes they are, a L/R dealer or just google the number and see what comes up.

I wouldn't say they are "grommets" per se, more like a little plastic cap with a bit out the edge so you can get a small screwdriver in to lever them off. Definitely not rubber. If your bolt is tight, then it shouldn't let water in, they're just cosmetic. |

I haven’t got anything bolted in, as not got any bars or roof rack.

I have fitted several new genuine L/R roof rail kit's and the only thing you have missing apart from the cross rails not being fitted are the caps shown in the picture, there are no full length covers.

What model do you have? If its a L494 you just have a stock roof then yes something is missing and that should have a cover to make it flush with the roof.

I know what you mean. I bought some genuine LR ones from Buckster on this forum. They are great and the bars have come in really handy. However, they do look unfinished but apparently this is how they are. And from the ground of course no one knows except you.
