Pricing ???

I was looking on Autotrader at a full size 2018 Vogue SE 4.4litre a few days ago. Swithering about selling my MY2015 as its only got 13300 miles on it & perfect. Anyway decided to see if it was still there, yes, but its gone up in price by £3000 & considering its been on sale since May. Big Cry
Bet they are not going to give me another £3000 for mine Whistle Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Santorini Black

You'd probably be quite surprised what yours is worth, given the super low mileage, and that the car is immaculate Bow down

Yes, used prices have gone through the roof!

I am waiting for delivery of a P400e and currently watching the price of my current Mercedes.

At he moment it is worth a £1,000 more than I paid for it last year.

I am waiting for the right moment to sell it via Motorway who have got good prices for me in the past. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

Yip, used prices are sky high. I bought a brand new Mini Cooper for my wife 14 months ago through Carwow and yesterday a dealer offered me more than I paid for the car in a part exchange deal on a new car. Current - 2020 Range Rover Sport P400e
Gone - 2014 Range Rover Sport HSE SDV6
Gone - 2017 Audi A8 Sport

Starting to think it might be better to wait maybe even till next year and see if things get better pricing wise. Not like I’m going to lose a huge amount on my trade in at 9yrs old !

I think prices will fall quite dramatically once things get back to normal. Fall in production, chip delays etc. are causing this. Once back up to speed things will return to normal ie the dealers ripping you off with trade ins.
Best to sell now & wait till next year before buying if you can manage it. Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

Looks like I may hold on if prices are sky high. Depends on the cost to change I suppose. Could be the prices drop next year but cost to change is the same!?

I know my 2017 ab went up £2k last month, still not worth anywhere near my gfv so it’s been VT’d, as I predicted a JLR dealer bought it at auction & now has it up for sale at nearly £52k! 2-3 months ago they were all around £47-49k for my spec, age & mileage. I agree with one of the other posters, I would sell in the next 6 to 8 weeks & lease for a few years as discounts are getting hard to get as there is no stock.

Not for me, I have saved around £15k on a black edition p400e on a private 3 year lease than on a pcp! & that was including a £10k discount on the new car via pcp which was available when I ordered in March, minimal discounts available now.

Well, saw another one I liked the look of, being sold by Pentland & it was in Scotland, so not too far to travel. The best ones seem to be in England. So, got on to their website for a trade in figure & it came back, in showroom condition, which mine is with just over 13000 miles & FSH.
Censored offer was less than WBAC & Autotrader
That then got my sensible head back on & I thought do you want something that's got a lot more miles than what you have with less of a spec as I put on £8000 of options. OK its got the 4,4 engine, mine 3.0. Not concerned about the extra speed, I have a 600bhp S63 Coupe for that. Sent an email this morning saying no thanks. No reply.
Maybe I should go for a plug in hybrid as the miles it will be doing, it will probably never have the petrol engine running Rolling with laughter or just keep my own as its a lovely car. Always fancied the full size one though. Must stop looking at Autotrader Whistle Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

Lindab

The dealers are on drugs just now, wbac, cazoo, Arnold Clark car buying, all offering way more than their miserable trade ins or purchase outright offers, seems like JLR dealers still think they are entitled to £10k across a bonnet on a reasonably new sport, that’s why I won’t even consider a 3-4 year old option from a JLR dealer, you lose around £10k as soon as you drive it away & by the time you pay the extra interest on their pcp rates for second hand options your still costing you around £800 a month & usually they want around a £12k deposit aswell, far better taking a new one when discounts come back on line.
