Engine slight surge at low revs

Hello all, have had a search and can't really find anything on my issue, RRS 4.2 supercharged, at about 1-1.5 rpm and at about 25 - 30 mph, rev counter bounces and engine surges, all OK after that and no issue on pick up!! Garage says possible MAF ,any help /guidance would be great ,TIA

most likely sometimes its as simple as an old gasket causing an air leak.but really gotta look at the trims to tell
