Wet passenger footwell.

Noticed a musty smell in the L320 the last few days. I thought it was the wife but I checked the carpet and found that the passenger footwell was wet. Also on the transmission tunnel side carpet.
Whats happened? Have I got a leak or a knackered heater matrix?
There is no coolant loss although I did have the AC regassed a few weeks ago - could it be condensation getting in?
Give me a clue please...

I think I found it.. I removed the under dash trim to access the AC drain tubes. When I pulled one of the tubes off a load of water came pouring out. The passenger side tube was blocked so I blew through them both with a bike pump and a poke with a bit of wire.
The smell was the driver foot mat that had got wet into the hessian material inside. Similar pong to old football socks.
