England 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Front drivers seat

Being a bit of a big lump I have the problem of the front seat not going back far enough!
My 2006 RRS is not so bad but my 2010 facelift model sport with the later seats is making my right leg ache!
I have tried setting up the seat using Land Rover SDD! It moves freely backwards and forwards no problem
So the next thing was to see if the seat and runners can be physically moved towards the back of the car giving me more leg room!
I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem and come up with a remedy?
Thanks in advance!

Fit a 2006 seat. Laughing Loads of room

Seat mounts are fundemental safety issue, so wouldn’t want to move them

Andy, are the pre-facelift seats and facelift seats interchangeable then?

I would like to think the mechanical mounts were.

The memory seat system is different and difficult though.
And heated seats.

Maybe make up a hybrid of the two

Ah, thanks for that, but really need to find some better seats for my Disco4, which currently have RRS facelift ones fitted, the seat squabs are shot.

Thanks anyway.

I found this when I moved from 2008 to 2012 RRS. The seats don't move back quite so far. Likewise, the steering wheel doesn't adjust quite as far.

Seems to be another of those "improvements" that LR made in the facelift. The headlights on the 2012 aren't as good as those on the 2008 either - seems to be a result of them designing the lights so that they don't need altering between RHD and LHD. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
