If I remember correctly there are 2 versions, the 05 to 10 and then the 10 onwards. The only difference as far as I’m aware is the plastic lock parts and they are interchangeable. So it shouldn’t matter which you get, it’s just one is a revised model. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

are the detachable ones safe to tow with i am sure i remember a few years back there was storys of folk having issues with them id hate for my caravan to end up off on its own on the motorway |

thanks my last range rover had the heavy duty fixed towbar .i wasn't sure when i get my new one if it was a removable if i should change it for fixed |

I'd second getting the plate. A quick bolt on and it certainly gave me peace of mind when towing a motorcycle trailer last year from Southern Spain to North Scotland! 2010 TDV8 - current - my first RRS, loving it so far...... 2005 Cayenne S - handling defied physics and what a sound, so sod the mpg! 1995 Disco TDI- surprisingly reliable, shame about the peeling dash & other trim Lots of other non 4X4's in between times......... |
