1. Try adding wynns vvt cleaner to the fuel tank (purple bottle) This may free the turbo up

Andy, just a thought... is the actuator on this electronic, motor operated?

It is electric. And it moves on ignition on and off. (To stop it seizing and as a self test)

I tried with both the ignition on and off thinking I might be able to help it move. By the look of the one I can see in the picture it looks like both the rod and the connection to the actuator are steel, from the service/MOT history it looks like it’s been parked up for over 12 months... maybe could be seized the opposite end 🤷🏻♂️.

I've never seen the actuator sold speratly (assuming you could replace it in situ!)
