Hi, my in control apps subscription is due at the end of this month. I renewed last year due to tracker etc . Does anyone else renew theirs or just not bother as you think it’s a waste of money?. If I don’t subscribe this year can you still use the remote heating via the app? That’s the only thing I use on it.

I renew InControl (for the remote start) and the map subscription (for traffic updates).

I don’t renew the tracker, which I think is overpriced - and if the car is stolen, I want a new one anyway rather than mine trashed, recovered and repaired. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Agreed, the remote start and updates are beneficial.

I've just had the email about renewal but at £260 I think I might just leave the tracker part off this year as it's only cat 6 and I can have a S5 plus tracker system that's only £100 a year if I don't just make the one off payment for lifetime subscription.

Personally think it’s a waste of money, if you have remote fbh perhaps, but I didn’t bother this year, I can look at my fuel gauge and work out how far I can go.

If I wanted or needed tracker then I think a non LR one would be better. Joined the X5 45e club
