Oil leek - Turbo feed pipe 3.0L SDV6

Put a deposit down for a 3.0L SDV6 and i noticed an advisory on the last service 'slight oil leak on turbo feed pipe area - needs further investigation'.

Is there anything common around that area it could be? Anyone had anything similar?

I've obviously left it with the garage to sort but would like to be armed with any knowledge you guys can furnish me with so i know what i'm looking at?

Cheers,

Pete. L494 3.0L SDV6 Autobiography in Chile Red (Current)

More like "subframe off". 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

What specifically was it Martyn, was it the feed pipe? L494 3.0L SDV6 Autobiography in Chile Red (Current)

I was told it was the leaking from where the turbo joins, it put me off immediately as I know its a big job just to get to it

If it's the banjo unions where the oil feed pipe connects to the turbo, then it's an easy job to change the copper washers. Joe

There are plenty around so you may as well get one that doesn't have any issues (that you can tell, anyway). Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I would be very worried if I found leeks stuffed down my turbo feed pipe!!! Laughing

Had something similar on previous Audi Q7 just out of warranty - got rid of it as was potentially a big job. I would look elsewhere...
