Hi Guys.

I have recently purchased a 2014 SDV8 which has the 7 seats fitted. I know you don't get a spare tyre and it has the compressor and fluid to repair a puncture instead which 9/10 out of 10 doesn't work anyway

There is a place by the looks of it for a jack but it isn't there, should this model with the seven seats have a jack but I doubt it as you don't have a spare wheel to fit but thought surely they would fit a jack? If not I will purchase one.

Any help would be appreciated.

Frankly, you are better off without one. They are made of cheese, and unless the ground is solid and perfectly flat, it could end in disaster. A lot of RRS and D3/4 owners bin them and carry a bottle jack instead, VW sprinter jacks used to be favoured.
As you've no room for a spare, just make sure you have a recovery service.

No jack in mine.

There are a couple of empty spaces in the foam and that is where the warning triangles are stored.

Ahh ok those empty spaces are for the triangle etc far enough.

Yes those scissor jack's are pretty rubbish, not like the old landrovers eg discovery 2 etc that had proper hydraulic jack's.
