Hi Guys.

Looking at a sport for the Mrs it is a June 2014 plate. It has full park assist and the surround camera's.

Just curious I know they have the Parallel Park but do they have Perpendicular Park and park exit assist on a June 2014 car?
It says on topix it has full park assist so I guess it has all three options?

I've never had it on my sports just curious really!

Any info from someone who has a similar year would be great

My 15 plate 2016MY has full park assist and it does all the 3 things you speak about .

Was there a model year which had park assist that only had the Parallel parking? After reading a few posts on here there are a few cars that have parallel park only. I think it has something to do with the surround camera system too. If you don’t have the surround cameras I don’t think the car has the other 2 features of full park assist (I could be wrong)

Found this online and looks like the 2014 model was a update year so I definitely reckon the June 2014 one I'm looking at definitely has all three park assists

Hello,

Another indication of the vehicle having perpendicular parking will be having two extra parking sensors in the rear lower bumper quarter panels. These will be facing the kerb and actually on the side of the vehicle.

Cheers for the reply. Yea I have seen extra sensors on the lower bumpers on the side front and back, so I guess she does have all the park options

Yep thats full park assist the little sensors on the side in the Dynamic vent cut out thinging on the lower rear bumper is the side Perp Sensor, the one on the front side bumpers is for the parallel park.

I think if you had park assist you get the pull out from a parallel parking spot function where is uses the rear collision sensros to help get you out of the space, (might be sitting there a while though, and Ive used the Para park fetrue a few time and it does work but sometimes the reaer wheel will hit the curbs trying to get into the spot

Perp I dont have but perp is easier anyway, the 360 cams are good for getting close to the curbs (using the mirror cams) as you can see how close you are to avoid damaging the wheels, parkig in residentials streets where msot other cars a city cars makes us stick out a bit so I like to get as close as I can to avoid some van taking off a wing mirror! If a jobs worth doing, get a someone who knows what they are doing to do it!

Yea certainly does have the full park assist as I tried it yesterday after collecting it and wow pretty impressed with it to be fair thought it wouldn't really work 100% but it did. Has all three parking options too so the Mrs is happy as its hers. Definitely better parking then the Mrs

Least other people will know about a vehicle having full park assist with it having the other sensor lower down on the back bumper

Think it was the newer 2014 model ones onwards which had it from what I read.
