What motor ? M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |

It's a 3.0 litre diesel sdv6. The damp patch has dried up now, I took it for a long drive today and it didn't reappear which I guess is gona make it hard to find the cause and fix |

Was it recently serviced? A bit of ham fisted work by a mechanic and a bit of oil could find its way down to the underside. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Nope it's booked in for its 5th service at LR (included with service pack) and I asked them to take a quick look and see where the leak was coming from and they wanted £180 for the privilege! |

Yes, LR dealer want money to investigate anything. Better off with an indie, service pack or not. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
