It's likely to the be universal joint on the lower steering column. It's a common issue.

that's the cause if the symptom gets worse when hot.

Mine started to act up a few weeks back on my MY 2012. It’s still under warranty, off to the stealer in the next weeks. 2018 Telsa MS

By "LR" do you mean a dealer? With a car that age I'd be inclined to see if there's a local independent LR specialist. I doubt using an indie will affect the car's value, and it's likely to save you £s and get you a better diagnosis. Robin

Hi there sorry for the slow reply...... there aren’t any local independents that I know of I thought it best to take it to LR. In all honesty it still hasn’t gone in and the steering has now developed a clunking when going around roundabouts and cornering. 😩 2009 3.6 TDV8 HST |
