What colour to get - photos please?

Hi, new member here, so go gentle.
I’m close to ordering a new RRS HST, but can’t decide on colour. To be honest I want Portafino blue but the HST doesn’t come in that.

I don’t want black, so Firenze Red or Hakuba Silver are what I’ve narrowed it down to.

I’d appreciate any pics to either of those colours. Appreciate there are pics on the LR website but was looking for some real world ones. Can’t get to a dealer to look due to Covid restrictions.

Thanks in advance

Firenze red with the Black contrast roof!

IMHO the silver and red both look brilliant, with the black roof and alloys.
👍

Thanks both. The red does look good. I’m thinking about toning down the bling factor by going for the red roof and the dealer has offered to spray the wheels silver (no charge). Decisions, decisions.... part of me thinks that when I park the red with black bits on the street it’ll be more of a target for vandals as well - but maybe they’ll think I’m a gansta Laughing instead.

Red pops good and proper forever. So if I was forced to choose between those two colours I’d go for the F Red. It looks very, very good indeed.

Contrast roof? Meh.

Silver alloys, yes. Honestly, folks, classic colours and styles win all day long unless you’re taking 6 month or maybe 12 month leases. Anything needs to stand the test of time (36 months min!) and funky things age crazy quickly. So age slowly by going with brown and beige/almond. England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Orkney Grey

For what it's worth, I've the HST in Firenze red, with red roof & black wheels, together with the carbon fibre trim. I get a new car every 18 mths or less, depending on what takes my fancy, & I think this is the best looking one I've owned. I've never had so many positive comments on a car before. I can't remember if the carbon fibre trim was standard, but it sets it off.

Thanks guys.
Dealer has sent through a video of a Velar in F Red. Got to be honest it looks a lot lighter than any of the pics you guys have posted and also lighter than the website on my screen. So hard to tell without seeing in the flesh. I’m going to ask them if I can go peer in their window Smile

Update: have ordered Hakuba silver HST with body coloured roof.

Other details:

Sliding pano, electric tow bar, HUD, Driver Assist Pack, Ebony Ebony interior, Ebony headlining,.

Trying to arrange March delivery.

Coming from three BMW X5s, (last one was M50d), so its going to be different, but really looking forward to it.

Fantastic, it nothing else you’ll love the smell of this thing. Laughing

Only issue with sliding roof is you get that Highgate bar in the middle. If you don’t often open it a fixed roof is better, to state the obvious, which is why I deleted my sliding roof and opted for fixed.

My only other thought, now the horse has bolted, is I am a Signature hifi advocate. Stupid expensive, but I really appreciate it. And I like the HUD. But when we talk options it’s starts to get pretty crazy / wasteful very quickly, I admit. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Thanks for those tips. On the pano, I have had one on my last 3 x5s (very similar pano) and we open it a lot. Had the HUD on my last one for the first time and probably wouldn’t spec a car without it now. I use it all the time and find it particularly useful when using the sat nav.

Signature hifi.... I’d love to have it, its just the cost. It would likely have put another £100 a month onto my cost. I’m used to the Harmon Kardon in the X5 which isn’t that great, so I’m hopeful the Meridian surround will be at least as good if not better.

The biggest change for me is getting back to petrol. I kind of had to buy diesel in the X5 as at the time the only petrol version was an arm and a leg. Times change, and now i was comparing with a potential new 50i (petrol), which would be a bit quicker than the HST, but realistically it would have performance i never use.

All in all quite excited to get something different!

The 825W Meridian Surround system is fantastic, actually, I reckon you'll be pleased with it. I only specced the 1700W on mine because I felt like splashing the cash and I will keep this car for like 10 years, so it was crucial to avoid regrets. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)...
