United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Siberian Silver
ACE Fluid

Iv had a look through the forum but not really found what I'm looking for.

Recently come back to owning an 11 Reg sport and I have noticed the ACE fluid keeps dropping. I top this up to the MAX line but after a drive it keeps dropping to just below MIN. It does not drop below this but even when I again top it up it drops to just below MIN - roughly the exact difference of the MAX to MIN line. I have only added a small amount in roughly 200ml so its not a massive amount of fluid.

No sign of a leak from what I can see, and no lights etc....any ideas on where to look?

can you see the bars? if not then the skid plate needs to come off and if not that then either the valve block drain bolt is leaking(doubt it if it hasnt been opened recently), or pipes have rusted enough to rot.

Or the ARC bars are leaking

Thanks, I cant see any leaks from the pipework I can see around the wheel arches and at the back of the car. It could be leaking I suppose from the bar I cannot see under the front tray but its weird how it drops below MIN but then doesnt drop any lower after that!

is it a temperature thing?

When fluid hot it could be on max
When cold it could be on min

normally when it goes that low you have a leak and it should throw an error. i'd top it up to be sure and see if you can get codes scanned.
