Antifreeze OAT

Hi I just wanted advice on Antifreeze for my RRS L320 2013 I’ve seen Range Rover own STC50529 Which is red and is a concentrate.Checking my car the colour in expansion tank is orange .I ve seen at Euro Car-parts TRIPLE QX Orange Ready Mixed Antifreeze/Coolant - 5ltr. Is it that the Red concentrate OAT when mixed with water goes an orange colour or am I better off with pre mixed Qx mix.
As ever guys always appreciate your wise words.
Bow down

A good question, which I can't fully answer.

No, adding water doesn't change the colour on these.

Searching appears to indicate Pink is a later version of orange OAT, introducted In 2010

But if you can't find orange.....

I've used this stuff and it's been fine:
https://www.halfords.com/motoring/engine-o...33536.html 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

That’s what I’ve just bought but the concentrate then I’ll do a 50/50 mix with distilled water. Steve

In days gone by I always used demineralised water in preference to distilled water, although I guess with modern technology and chemicals things have moved on.

Cheers

I use the Triple QX from Euro's. Not the orange one though!

It's the red one you want...

I mix it with with deionised water, which I get from my water purification system at home. Alternatively, you can buy it from ECP, Halfords etc. Kev
