Over the moon but something strange happened earlier, turned on the ignition and drove off but couldn’t get the speed over 18mph! As if the acceleration wasn’t working. Pulled over stopped the engine and then restarted and all was fine. Should I be concerned?!

Perhaps you hit the speed limiter on the cruise control without realising it. I did that on my S63 AMG & wondered what happened. Accelerator to the floor overrides it. Switching off ignition also cancels it.
