Buckster - do the spots in front of the grill cause overheating temp or any temp issues. I know when a friend had Overfinch install a 5.7 HSi kit in his classic they would not warranty the conversion if spotlights blocked the airflow to the grill.[/quote]

The heat rejection of a modern diesel is going to very different to an old fashioned petrol V8 in a Classic too. Probably needs half the cooling of that old lump.
