i wonder if anyone can help. My parking sensors don't seem to be working. I have a flashing light on the parking sensor switch on dash that goes off if pressed. I have runan OBD scan & it is showing u0159 no communication with parking assist module. Checked fuses all ok. ? any advice would be very much appreciated. ( 2007 RRS 2.7TDV6 HSE AUTO ).

what fault code reader do you have ?

When you select reverse for the first time, do you get an error tone from the rear?
If no, its 95% likely the speaker has failed.
It's fitted in the rear boot behind the left trim.

Jaguar and fords use the same speaker.
If you have a meter, you can measure the resistance of the speaker. should be 50R I think.

If the system has been faulty for some time, there could be other faults present.
