England 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
One year on

So it’s been an eventful year one way or another but still enjoying RRS ownership.

Story so far of faults, fixes and mods.

New suspension pump, near side suspension unit, height sensor and junction block to sort suspension light before we picked it up.
Oil leak from offside cam cover sorted by dealer under 3 month warranty.
Breakdown which turned out to be water in the engine ECU, off the road for most of the first lockdown with nobody working. Finally got a cloned unit sorted but it was touch and go as mine was soo badly damaged.
All driveline oils changed along with diff output shaft seals on the offside front and rear.
Front diff breather replaced.
Drive belt tensioner.
Upgraded battery to sort fault codes.
Recharge air conditioning.
Non functional turning lights rewired as DRL’s and led bulbs fitted.
6k D2S with Osram night breaker mains.
US market marker lights.
Led number plate light.
Led interior lights with rears connected to the doors.

To do.
Gearbox threw 5th gear error when towing the caravan but drives fine otherwise.
Due full cam belt change.
Clean and rustproof the underside.
New side steps.
Plus lots I’ve forgot.

 Steve

You missed out your wheel bearing replacement Wink

These vehicles do keep us busy, but they are amazing machines and very much worth it! Kev

Your right Kev I forgot that and I only did that recently Confused Well I did a six month oil service yesterday and noticed some spots of oil on the sump plate and Censored me the near side output shaft seals leaking on the diff now Rolling Eyes If I wasn’t fixing it I’d only be cleaning it Very Happy Steve

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Cairns Blue

This is one of the few cars I’ve owned (4 years now) that I still enjoy driving. I have had thoughts of passing it on recently, but when I get in it I convince myself it’s a keeper. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.
